Are Fixed Full Arch Dentures Faster Than Other Implants?
All-on-dental-implants are a swift procedure that can often be completed in just one visit to the dentist’s office. This means you can get a full set of teeth replaced in a single appointment, eliminating time spent dealing with partial dentures or waiting for multiple appointments or surgeries for other dental implants. Moreover, since All-on-dental-implant posts are placed at once during the same procedure, there is less risk associated with each step and less overall recovery time associated with your treatment plan.
How Long Does It Take to Heal After My Dental Implant Surgery?
The healing process for an All-on-denture treatment typically takes 3-6 months before complete recovery is achieved. However, you will hopefully be healing with teeth fixed in place. During this period, patients can expect some swelling and pain at the site of the implant placement, although this will diminish after several days post-surgery. Additionally, dietary restrictions such as soft foods should be followed while recovering from the procedure in order to give adequate time for proper healing and integration between your mouth’s existing bone structures and the newly placed titanium posts before more strenuous activities such as chewing are resumed.
